We are very fortunate to have a limited supply of Australian organic lemon myrtle. This is the real deal. Since rust has decimated the supply, IF you can even find lemon myrtle it is usually the inferior Malaysian variety and is dull and tasteless by comparison. This earthy lemon scented, wonderfully healthy herb is anti-viral, a free radical scavenger, and has more citral than any other herb.
True Australian lemon myrtle has a vibrant aroma and taste that, once you have had it, nothing else will do.
We use lemon myrtle extensively in our tea blends, as well as in cooking! Add 1/2 teaspoon to the water when you cook quinoa or rice for a delicious lemony flavour. Add lemon myrtle to Asian stir fry, or directly into cake batter or frosting. Anywhere you want to taste great lemon, use lemon myrtle. It's an herb, so you don't have to worry about removing it - just eat it as you would oregano or parsley.
